Bryen Warfield, Orchestral Conductor, is an exciting and emerging conductor based in Indianapolis. He has conducted
orchestras and bands throughout the United States and Canada, including the Windsor Symphony Orchestra (Windsor, ON, Canada), Yakima Symphony Orchestra (WA), Circle City Orchestra (IN), Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, Fort Wayne Philharmonic Players Association (IN), and the Old Crown Brass Band (IN).
He maintains an active career as an educator, clinician, and adjudicator working with students all over the United States through organizations such as Music for All, Drum Corps International, and Bands of America.
Bryen is pursuing a Doctor of Arts degree in Wind Band Conducting at Ball State University with a secondary emphasis in Music Education and has received degrees from the University of Louisville and The Ohio State University.
Gospel, and Jazz. A Battle Creek, Michigan native, CJ comes from a deeply musical family and began his journey in music through choir singing and trombone performance before mastering the piano at fifteen.
As the lead keyboardist and arranger for the award-winning band Be On It, CJ has shared the stage with artists like PJ Morton, Sy Smith, Chantae Cann, and Jeremih. He is currently serving as Music Director at Light of the World Christian Church for over a decade and has led productions such as A Charlie Brown Christmas and Rent: The Musical.
Beyond music, CJ is married to the love of his life, Lauren Warfield, who inspires and supports his artistic journey. A dedicated collaborator and musical storyteller, CJ’s work blends technical mastery with soulful expression, making him a sought-after presence in live and studio settings alike.
