2010 Komen Indianapolis Race for the Cure

TeamPHIL recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the 2010 Komen Indianapolis Race for the Cure on 04/17/2010 in the fight against breast cancer.

We know several of our Philharmonic colleagues who are fighting this disease.  We are certain that there are many others in our extended community as well. Welcome to the Philharmonic Orchestra's 2009-2010 season

Welcome to the Philharmonic Orchestra's 2009-2010 season, "Illuminations and Reflections." The five concerts of the season will blend traditional, classical favorites like Brahms' Symphony No. 1 with newer works that may become part of the evolving canon of classical music. As musicians, we consider it both a responsibility and a joy to be part of the organic development of classical symphonic music. Our Philharmonic Phringe Festival, new this year, introduces one or two pieces at each concert that are "out on the fringe" of classical music, awaiting their inclusion in the list of what are considered classical music's masterworks.
